I’ve seen all too many exercise-related injuries during my many years in practice, but you can avoid getting hurt if you’re properly conditioned. Before starting any new activity, you should see your primary care provider to assess your health. Depending on your sport or activity, you may also wish to consult with an athletic trainer, physical therapist, chiropractor, qualified personal trainer or a strength and conditioning coach.
